Noble November

Good afternoon!!  Welcome back!!  In today's episode we will be talking about November 2021, 2022, and 2023.  So, sit back and enjoy the show.

NOVEMBER 2021

It was still warm enough to sit outside in the evening around a campfire.  This was the original firepit that was there when we bought the house.

It's GAMEDAY!  We played the Idaho State Bengals and trounced them 59 to 14

We were so busy with painting, moving, and unpacking that I didn't get the Halloween decorations out, but I insisted that I would put out the Thanksgiving decorations!

Don't ask, because I have no idea how I did that.

Sugar Gliders at church.

I got the curtains hung!! You know you are getting close to being done when you get the curtains put up.

I finished painting the West Wing.

And was able to start moving things into it.

View from the stairs.

The kitchenette in the West Wing.

View from in the kitchenette.

I finished the Great Room and got the mantel put up.

Eilee turned sweet 16!

Making pies for Thanksgiving.

Making the cream pies.

My parents have a pond in their back yard.  On Thanksgiving Day, the kids all went out to the pond and played around with the fine layer of ice that was on the pond.

They had a grand time.

Pictures for the Christmas Stars that my mom makes.  She's just beautiful.

and so is she.
Such a handsome boy.

We take our sword play very seriously.

King Richard the 12th off to conquer the Christmas Tree!

Decorating for Christmas is a very serious undertaking.  We must be centered and prepared to build and decorate a 12 foot tall tree.

Excuse me but would you like to hear about.........plants?

Got the Great Room all decorated and ready for Christmas!

NOVEMBER 2022
My mom makes these awesome bead dragons.  Naturally I had to have them "protecting" my hoard of rocks.

Sugar Dust watching football with me.

Eilee and Meow-meow made Baclava and it was quite delicious.

I don't ask questions.

It's GAMEDAY!!  We played the Utah Tech Trailblazers and easily beat them 52 to 26.  I love a good, high scoring game!!

NOVEMBER 2023
Jimmy got called to the Nevada, Las Vegas mission.  He received his Endowment in the Bountiful Temple.

Right after the temple, we went to celebrate.  We purposely planned his birthday party to coincide with when he received his Endowment.

It's GAMEDAY!!  Sadly, we did not win this game.  It was very COLD!

Looking a little bit pale there bud.  That would be because his uncle Stephen was busy digging out a huge sliver from his thumb.  Sometime during the summer while he was working at Lagoon, he got a sliver from the White Roller Coaster and never did anything about it.  We were at a family party when Jimmy asked Stephen to take a look at it.  And being the awesome doctor that he is, he ran home and got his nifty medical kit and removed the sliver.

This is the culprit right here.  That's a pretty epic sliver there Jimmy.  Naturally, because he is my child, he had to save the sliver for posterity.  It had been buried in so deep, that Stephen had to put in a coupe of stitches.

She is so stinking cuddly!

It's GAMEDAY!!  We were having a terrible season.  We didn't win this game either.

Jimmy got set apart as a missionary!!

The whole family with both sets of grandparents

Our Stake President, President Potter, Jimmy, Me, Nathan, and Brother Knecht from the bishopric.

We realized that after Jimmy leaves on his mission that it would be a long time before we would have all of them together and so we took advantage of it and got some good photos.

Oldest to youngest.

Tallest to shortest.  Jimmy has finally moved up in the ranks and has passed Tiger Lily in height.  I think that Meow-meow might be the only one who could eventually give Richard a run for his money.

My sweet little Vanilla Bean.  I'm still upset that she disappeared.  I can't blame it on the neighbors and say they took her since I don't know.  But I do have my suspicions.  This is the last time I saw Vanilla.

The day we dropped Jimmy off at the MTC.

We got there really early and so we had time to walk around the Provo Temple grounds and take some pictures.

It was quite cold out.

The thinker.

We even had time to drive over to LaVell Edwards Stadium for a photo with the cougar.

We took some pictures in a church parking lot which was right next to the MTC

Meow-meow is an excellent photographer.

This is at the entrance to the MTC.

Mandatory rabbit ears.

The final goodbyes before he went his way and we went home.  We are so proud of you Jimmy!!

Eilee turned 18!

Well, there you have it, those are the November shenanigans for 2021, 2022, and 2023.  We have almost reached the end of our epic three year year in review.  Come back tomorrow for the last installment.
