Beautiful June

I am a total slacker on my year in review blog posts this year.

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it before, but the beginning of June is crazy for us.  In the order of 7 days, we have 3 birthdays to celebrate.  It's quite the kick-off to our summer shenanigans......

We had lots of candle blowing and present unwrapping.

Birthday Shenanigans at grandma's house.

Birthday shenanigans at our house.

This is how Meow-meow insists on saying prayers.

My ankle recovery was going very well.  I was out of the boot and in an ankle brace.  I had free reign to do yard work, however, having to wear the ankle brace meant I had some very strange tan lines.

Boysenberry bushes!!
Remember when Firebolt bought the goats to train for the 4H stock show?  Well, they had a class to help the kids learn about what they should be doing with their goats over the summer to get ready for the stock show in August.  Firebolt ended up with two pretty stubborn goats.  These next several photos show just how much "fun" she had with them.

She finally did manage to get them to somewhat behave.

And walk.
However, over the next couple of months, she had quite the time trying to get those goats to do what they were supposed to do.....
Cute but stubborn

I am not going to cooperate and you can't make me!!

Firebolt also got her braces off!!

Elvis came to Grandma Coy's care center

Meow-meow got his face painted.

And he discovered the joys of cotton candy.

Proof that I occasionally do wear shoes.

These are his "glasses"

He won this at Youth Conference.

Meow-meow found my stash of gum and decided to make "dessert" for a family party.  He was so proud of himself.

We cleaned out the garage and disposed of some very old cans of food.  Lion Heart and Spider Monkey thought it would be fun to smash them all with a hammer.  Lets just say they regretted that idea.
And last, but not least, my fur babies.
