We start out or month of December with an early Christmas party when all of Nathan's sister's were in town and we could have the whole family together. We did our annual Christmas Nativity play.
I look like such a goober. |
Then came the annual Christmas candy making with my good friends, Stephanie, Martina, and Faith. We had a lot of fun
An early birthday party for all of the December birthday people.
Jacen got his acceptance letter to Weber State. |
Spider Monkey had a Christmas choir concert. |
Firebolt being goofy before church started. |
He's all ready for Santa to come. |
It looks like Santa made a visit. |
Early Christmas morning. Everyone is picking out where they are going to sit. |
And now to hand out all the loot. |
So, the only thing that Meow-meow wanted for Christmas was a doughnut, and not just any kind of doughnut. He wanted a Texas Doughnut. A few months earlier, Jacen had bought him one from Smith's. Well, Santa can't disappoint.......
Then there is the unwrapping aftermath.....
Jacen and all of his loot.
Firebolt and all of her loot.
Lion Heart and all of his loot.
Spider Monkey and all of his loot.
Firecracker and all of her loot.
Tiger Lily and all of her loot.
Meow-meow and all of his loot.
Nathan and I and all of our loot.
I think we wore him out. |
My cousin Pam and I had the same brain wave and got my mom the same present for Christmas. Quite hilarious. |
And my cousin Elizabeth knows me too well and surprised me with this awesome hat. I wear it every where I go. |
I found a new weakness.....Sweet white cinnamon ice cream. YUM! |
Firebolt turned 16!! |
We pulled a good one on her for her birthday. All she wanted for Christmas was a really nice art desk, but she didn't think she would get one as they were too expensive. She didn't care if it would be her birthday and Christmas present combined. I didn't say anything, just letting her think that it was just too expensive.........
Christmas morning came and went with no art desk. :( Little did she know....... |
See, my mother-in-law is a master shopper. Back in July when Friebolt and I had been at Michael's when she got looking at the art desks, telling me how much she wanted one. She pointed out the one she really wanted and I then took a picture of it. I then sent the picture to my mother-in-law and my mom asking if they wanted to go in on it for her Christmas present, knowing that my mother-in-law would work her magic and get it on sale for a good price. We thought things over and decided that it would be better to save it and give it to her for her birthday present instead....... |
I think she liked it. |
And then..........
We celebrated her birthday by lighting up the match stick balls I made. |
This time, I do have fur baby pics....
Whelp, that's it for 2018. I'll see you all next year!!
