Today I am thankful for my furry babies. I love my kitties. I make this post today because it is the one year anniversary of Popcorn's passing.
Rest in peace, Popcorn. You are missed. |
For Mother's Day 2014 my present was a cute little kitten. We named him Mighty Mouse
Such a cute little thing, now he's huge! |
He likes to lay in some very strange positions.
He and Meow-meow are partners in crime.
Unloading books from the bookshelf. |
Getting into my cross stitch stuff. |
Helping me put away Christmas decorations. |
They play together. Goodness he's almost as big as Meow-meow. |
He's a very helpful cat.
Every morning when I sweep, he flops himself down right where I'm sweeping. |
Even though he's a big, fat, tub of lard, if he fits, he sits.
We just love our silly Mighty Mouse |
He's a lovable, sweet cat
Then, last year, a couple of days before Thanksgiving, Nathan surprised me with a trip up to Logan to pick up two sweet kittens; a pure bred Ragdoll and a Ragdoll/Africat mix. I was so excited.
On the car ride home with them. They snuggled me the whole way. |
Sugar Dust, my Ragdoll. She is such a sweet and lovable ball of fluff. |
Anubis our Ragdoll/Afri-cat mix. He's a little shy, but very fun to play with. |
We have loved having these two sweet cats in our has for the past year. Here are some memories.
This is where she likes to sleep. |
Playing in the Christmas tree. |
Being content in my lap. |
Sleeping while I fold laundry. |
They have to be wherever I am, and then they nap. |
They are excellent cross stitch helpers. |
So sweet. |
Helping me do dishes |
Hanging out on the rocking horse. |
Napping in Lion Heart's science project |
He loves to hide under the covers. |
If she fits, she sits |
Acrobat cat |
Perching on the banister. |
They all make great playmates |
Again, if she fits, she sits. |
She loves belly rubs |
Helping fold laundry. |
Snuggling Space Man Spiff |
Snuggling me |
This is how I found her one day. |
She really loves to help me do laundry. |
Meow-meow and Mighty Mouse, partners in crime. |
And this is how he gets comfortable |
Anubis is the exact opposite of Mighty Mouse. Instead of sitting right in the middle of my morning sweeping, he chases everything. Sweeping time = playtime. |
So I endeavored to sort our plethora of Legos. She decided that a great napping place was in the box of Legos. |
She fell asleep in Meow-meow's stuffed animal bucket. |
I had entirely too much help sorting Legos |
Every single time, she would plop right where I was working. |
Found her on the stairs like this the other day. |
And last but not least, me holding a Lion cub in Mexico. |
