Now I know my ABC's.....

This will be the last thankful post for the 2015 Thanksgiving season.  I have had a lot of fun doing them and I hope that anyone who has stopped by this blog has enjoyed seeing them.

Today I am thankful for:

Yellowstone National Park.  I had the opportunity to work there during the summer of 94.  It was an amazing experience.  Yellowstone is probably my favorite national park.

My favorite word that starts with the letter Y is: Youthful

I am also thankful for:

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZoooooooooooommmmmmm!  Coal Creek Canyon, Colorado.  My grandparents lived up this canyon.  Every time we would go visit them, we would have to say, "zoom" as we went under the railroad bridge.  When it would first come into sight, we would start with the ZZZZZZ and end with the oooooooommmmm!!!!!! as we went under.  It was always a race between me and my two brothers as to who would see it first and who would say "zoom" first.  We lived in Utah and would make the long drive to their house every summer.  Seeing this meant that we were very close to the end of our journey.  We would get so excited to see the "Zoom".  We didn't call it the overpass, we called it the "Zoom".  My grandparents have long moved away from their mountain home, but some of my favorite memories are at their house.  I miss it.  I will always be thankful for the Zoom.

Some of my favorite words that start with the letter Z are: Zestful, zeal, and zany.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!  I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday.  I am very grateful for the many blessings I have been given, God is good.
