As usual, December was a busy, fun packed, holiday season month.
There was plenty of horsing around. Spider Monkey is doing great with his riding lessons. His teacher says he is a natural at it. Firebolt and I both got a chance to go for a horseback ride as well.
Christmas orchestra concerts for Lion Heart, Firebolt, and Firecracker.
Gingerbread house making.
A mad dash to finish the "Minecraft" room (It's what Meow-meow is calling the office/craft room.
For those of you who know what Dressing Your Truth is, I am a Type 1 and Nathan is a Type 4. In short, I like bright happy colors and Nathan likes darker colors. So, we didn't want to paint the room in all bright colors or all in dark colors. I want to have the room have a beach theme. So, we decided to Ombre the walls in blue colors. I also put glitter in my paint colors. I think it turned out great!!
This is the color theme we came up with |

My Visiting Teachers gave me a wonderful gift.
The best Christmas gift of all was when Nathan gave me my present. He announced that in February, I would get to go with my parents to Dubai and that I would be flying first class on Emirates. I am so excited I can hardly stand it!! I'm on pins and needles waiting for my younger brother to call my parents and let them know the dates we are going.
My younger brother and his family were in town for Christmas.
Firebolt also has her birthday in December. For the past three years I have made it a tradition to take down the ornaments off the Christmas Tree and turn it into her birthday tree.
So, my niece also has her birthday in December. My brother accidentally bought some trick candles so my parents brought them up so we could put them on Firebolt's birthday pie.
Letting her littlest brother and cousin help open her presents. |
Last but not least, the cats.
Apparently this is the only picture I got of any of the cats all month long. |
