August 2014

August is a fabulous month.  The end of August was a tad disappointing because it got cold....well, cold for me.  Everybody else thought it felt great and I was ready to break out my winter gear.

August was a end-of-summer-cram-tons-of-fun-in month.

Mighty Mouse was cute and growing up fast.

We had season passes to Thanksgiving Point and so we went to the Dinosaur Museum again.

Since we had season passes to Thanksgiving Point, we also were able to go to the new Museum of Curiosity.  It's an amazing museum.  I did a more detailed blog post back in August.  For now all you get is a brief review.

We had a family party and I was freezing.  I was wishing I had my coat and was wearing pants.  Everyone else thought it was a nice respite from the heat.  Personally I felt like I was robbed of my summer warm.

Spider Monkey turned 9 in 2014.  He's growing up fast!!

He ordered Bacon and scones for his birthday dinner.

He requested donuts instead of cake.

Tragically summer had to come to an end and school had to start again.  So here they are "ready" for their first day of school.

Only two months left in our review and I've saved the best for last.......
